Frequently Asked Questions
Whether you are new to packaging or have plenty of experience, there can still be some questions that pop up from time to time. Here are some of our frequently asked questions:
- We have the ability to produce ‘one-offs’ and low volumes, but we do have cost-effective minimum order quantities which are determined by the area of material used, material type, style of box and print requirement. In any instance, it is always best to get in touch so that we can advise the most cost-effective solution for you.
- At present our lead time for us to deliver your packaging (subject to receipt of design & artwork approval) is 5-7 working days for flexo printed packaging, 15-22 working days for litho printed packaging and 12-15 working days for digitally printed packaging.
These are guides and may be subject to change depending on the time of year, however, we will always try and accommodate your needs and would ask you to advise if you need something sooner than our lead-times. - Our in-house design team will supply a PDF cutter guide showing the flat unfolded blank packaging to which the artwork can be laid down on.
- Cutting formes are used to cut your packaging to the correct shape. Stereos are used for flexo printed packaging and this enables the packaging to be printed bespoke to your requirement. Both the ‘cutting forme’ and the ‘stereo’ belong to the customer after purchase for use on future packaging projects.

- Yes, we pride ourselves on working closely with our customers from consulting to design and through to the finished product. We have an in-house design team who are able to design a packaging solution specific to your requirements.
- Both corrugated & solid board can be used as a packaging material. The main differences are that corrugated is known for its strong and durable nature to with-stand the rigors of varying conditions of transit, whereas solid board is typically seen in the retail sector.
Although solid board is not as impact resistant, both have the ability to produce stand out examples of packaging.
